 The weather kept fine for the Diamond Jubilee Parade in Ryde yesterday much to the delight of those who took part in and to the hundreds of people who turned out to watch. An impressive show from start to finish we thought which included some classic and vintage vehicles including an open top bus from the Island's Bus Museum and a more modern armored personnel carrier from the Military Museum. As usual, the local carnival organisers put on en excellent parade around the carnival route in Ryde kicking off at 2pm. The parade also included proud veterans from all 3 armed forces as well as their respective cadets. Don't worry if you missed it because you can now view the parade in our DVD trailer section HERE.
