Godshill Model Village
Situated in the grounds of the Old Vicarage, this popular attraction originally opened in 1952. The 1.5 acre site includes wonderful model railway, an airfield, football pitch (watch out for the streaker!), cricket pitch and much more. The model village is based on the Shanklin and Godshill areas and features a model of Shanklin Chine complete with stream which runs through the entire length of the garden. The largest model is of the famous Godshill Church which towers above the village. The gardens are full of shrubs and conifers which provide the perfect back drop for the models. The images are taken from our DVD; 'An Island Attractions Tour' (Ep 1) which features this attraction. Visit their website HERE
