Today in sunny Cowes, we had a meeting with another venue who are going to part of one of out tour itineraries which begin at the end of the month. Our Thursday tour (The Historical Newtown Explorer) takes you on the 'maritime trail' when the first 'port' of call will be Cowes Parade. Our guests (we prefer to refer to our passengers as 'guests') will be able to explore the world's sailing capital at their leisure following being given the lowdown of it's history from our guide who will point them in the direction of the venue where they will be provided with complimentary hot drinks. From Cowes, the tour will go onto Porchfield for another refreshment stop before visiting Newtown. Newtown of course isn't easily accessible by public transport but is still an important part of the Island's maritime history. In fact, it was the busiest harbour in medieval times because it was well sheltered from the strong currents of the Solent. Yarmouth is the final stop on the tour so we think that this will be popular with the old sea dogs among you! Click here to book your seats!
